Math Beyond the Horizon
Where Am I - How does you GPS Work?

We'll briefly discuss traditional celestial navigation, and then discuss the calculations used in your GPS receiver to determine where you are, and relate these to familiar ASA and SSS triangle congruence theorems. In the process we'll learn why your GPS receiver is probably the most accurate clock you'll ever own!
